Consultation Services

The Consultation Team helps connect new clients with therapists, prior to booking a first appointment, to discuss the therapist's specialities, their approach to therapy, how they support clients in moving forward with goals, and to help determine if they would be a good fit for a particular client.

BIPOC Treatment - Culturally Integrative Non-Oppressive Counselling

BIPOC therapy/treatment is specifically focused on providing anti-racist and non-oppressive services for all people of colour.

MVA Trauma Treatment (Motor Vehicle Accident)

Psychological trauma treatment services following a Motor Vehicle Accident. If you are a new client booking your first MVA treatment appointment, please first book an Intake Phone Call appointment with one of our Client Care Service Team members (see above). Perhaps you feel lost in how to move forward or what steps to take?

Effat Daftarchi

Over the past 12 years, Effat has supported clients in coping with emotional issues, depression, anxiety, trauma experiences, PTSD, and self-esteem, in addition to supporting newly landed immigrants and refugees through acculturation stress (adapting to a new country and culture) and mental health after landing.

She is an experienced mental health expert in motor vehicle accident (MVA) issues and supports clients to heal from unpleasant symptoms and emotional distress post-MVA.

As part of her work with clients, she is also able to provide NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback, a neuroscience-based 100% safe and FDA-approved technology that helps clients balance and normalize their brain function and body regulation.

She is trained in EMDR (Child speciality), Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Couple therapy, (IFIO), and Clinical Hypnotherapy, allowing her to support through a evidence-based trauma-informed lens using creative problem-solving skills.

Effat is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with two master’s degrees in educational psychology and counselling Psychology from reputable universities in Canada and Iran.
